    • Jessica out sick, Katie filling in. The Secretary’s Report passes, unanimously. 
  • Treasurer’s Report – Clara
    • No change from last time, expecting some event reimbursement for Golden Gals. We have $673.96 and we need $750 to pay the reminder for Camp Kiesel
  • Outreach’s Report – Claire
    • Meeting bombing is happening. I have selected a few meetings targeted towards Young People. Reminder to announce the conference and pre-registration ALONG with announcing our upcoming event(s). Idea to make a large pre-registration flyer for events to help improve visibility for people wanting to register. 
  • Events Report – Nick
    • Bingo is now on the 9th since the Alano Club is hosting their Poker Night on 11/02/24, we are bombing the speaker meeting at 7pm, the event will start at 8:15pm.
  • Programs’ Report – Katherine
    • Nothing new to report. 
  • Graphics and Flyers Report – Chris
    • Nothing new to report at the moment. Can help with a higher resolution flyer for the poster if needed. 
  • Memorabilia Report – Austin
    • Pricing info for the playing cards available, need 7 more phrases/quotes/sayings to use for the back of the cards. Generic design we can keep reordering and selling, that isn’t year specific, so we can keep selling them year after year.  Have to confirm it’s a $40 setup fee, if we reorder it’s a $25 setup fee,  but if we want to order 50 packs ($4.95 each,  $247.50 total plus shipping) or if we order 100 packs ($4.85 each, $485 total plus shipping). Each suit of cards is going to have the same sayings.  Is there a list of sayings that you already have? It will be in GroupMe. 
    • On ordering shirts/sweatshirts, should I go ahead and get pricing now or wait until closer to the conference? Thoughts?
  • Registration’s Report – Megan
    • We have 6 registrations, 3 committee members, if you can please register! Going to look into a quick form for registration, then an automated email or follow up email, so people are more apt to register especially when people are pre registering at events and other conferences. 3 full scholarships and one partial scholarship.
  • Unity Report – Will
    • Unity Event Tomorrow! Meet at Kuwahara Farms for the Pumpkin Patch. Links to tickets and info in the GroupMe. Want to throw the idea out for a FriendsGiving for next month? If anyone is willing and able to host, please let Will know.

• Golden Girls Bingo Event: bingo cards, daubers, costumes
  • We have daubers in storage so we have to see which one works.
  • It might be worth investing in a Bingo Roller Kit if this is going to be a recurring UCYPAA Event. Cards can be purchased from Zurcher’s Clara is going to check on prices, she is going to report back on our options. We can print bingo cards in bulk via the library ($0.10 a page, can fit 4 cards to a page)
  • Speaker? We weren’t able to talk to the Speaker Seeker this time around. So hopefully it’s a good speaker.
  • Come dressed like an old person people! It’s gonna be fun!
  • Prize bundles, small prizes for bingo winners? 
  • Have bundles for prereg competition ready and there so everyone can see them, there will be a pre registration table at the front and it will be well manned with a laptop ready to go. 
  • Suggested donation- $10?  
  • Who is going to MC? Nick is our suggestion otherwise Clara is in the wings. We also have to have someone to pull numbers – Clara or anyone else who wants to.
  • Met up at 6:45pm before Speaker meeting, set up will continue during Speaker Meeting to get registration tables and prize tables going. Immediately 
  • Those who are willing to bake, please bring some baked goods to be bundled as prizes as well as some little non-edible prizes. Bring and contribute what you can so we can
• Bundles for Preregistration Competition – Katie makes a motion to handle the pre-registration bundles. Budget of $60-$70. Everyone who registers from the time the bingo event starts to midnight on January 6th, 2025 will be entered in the raffle to win one of five prize bundles including vintage UCYPAA merch, goodies, and a grand prize bundle including a $50 giftcard to coffee. Second from Claire. Discussion? Megan has everything tracked on there, so just remind people that for donating a full scholarship they will get an extra ticket entered in the raffle. PASSES.
