    • Read last meeting’s minutes. Motion to accept, seconded, passed.
  • Treasurer – Jessica
    • Sold 5 shirts for $125 and deposited $400 of cash (leaving $54 of petty cash)
    • Total $3,512.28
      • Sent checks for contributions but waiting for them to be cashed
      • Will be $1,812.28 after that
    • Motion to accept, seconded, passed.
  • Outreach – Josh
    • Going to SWACY, bringing half the shirts to sell.

  • Facilities – Kate
    • Has reached out to many different venues but all are very expensive. Recommends Camp Kiesel.

  • Beach Day
    • Will have an AA meeting at 1pm. Bring your floaties, paddleboards, etc! And LIFEJACKETS!!
  • Registration and payment processing integration into website
    • Treasury subcommittee met yesterday. 
    • Set up a Give Butter account. Can connect to the registration forms. Can still accept Venmo but hopefully move towards GiveButter as the main thing we use.
  • August Event!
    • Motion to rent a pavilion at Fitts Park (Address: 3050 S 500 E, South Salt Lake, UT 84106) for $125.
      • August 23rd from 1-4pm
      • Suggest donation $10
    • Call it YPAA Water Games 2025
      • Katherine brings her students there and knows there isn’t a water hook up. Can play water games and do a field day using jugs of water we bring in.
    • Research grills at the park? Make food plans?
    • Motion passed.
      • Riley concerned about breaking even given that our daytime events haven’t been as well attended.
  • Pre-Conference Assembly Workshop in Millcreek – Aug 16-17th
    • YPAA as a whole motion to add a YPAA Chair to the Area level. Might be good to show some support.

New Business

  • Venue!! Motion to book Camp Kiesel for May 15-17th for UCYPAA 2026! Discussion over moving it to Memorial Day. Amended to move the dates to Memorial Day weekend. PASSED! (if needed, tr
  • August Unity event! Making sack lunches for a shelter. James has coordinated something similar for work. 
  • Hospitality room at SWAC? Motion to get a hospitality room at SWAC and a $50 budget for it. Seconded, passed.
