Reports  

• Chair – Clara (excused)
  • Roberts Rules of Order Simplified– resource for anyone who wants to know more about how we conduct business 
  • Sunday Meeting Signup– sign up to host a Sunday business meeting!!
  • Access to shared documents- send Clara or Katherine your emails plz
• Secretary – Katherine
  • Creating a contact spreadsheet for people with positions.
  • Election minutes read, motion to accept, seconded, passed.
• Treasurer – Jessica
  • Current balance $3,787.32. Switching to Jessica’s venmo now for UCY business. New business. Motion to accept, seconded, passed.
• Outreach – Josh
  • Currently going to many YPAA events, would like to collaborate with other people going to YPAA events (ASCYPAA, In-Tents, etc) so we can promote UCY as a group.
• Inreach – Kam
  • Making a presentation to take into Brighton, would like input on how to do that successfully!
• Facilities – Kate (excused)
  • Emailed Camp Kiesel contact (Terri) wanted to see if they would host us again, looking into other options but wanted Kiesel as a back up.
• Programs – Megan
  • Speaker suggestions for events/conference/etc. Add your ideas!!
• Volunteer Coordinator – Devorah
  • Nothing to report.
• Culinary Jedi – Blake (absent)
• Events – Claire
  • Beach Day on July 27th, cohosting with SNOWYPAA. Still determining with them how they’d like us to help.
• Registration – Elizabeth F
  • Nothing to report. Will look through the 2025 folder to get an idea on how to get started.
• Merchandise – James
  • Nothing to report. New business.
• Graphics – Bella (excused)
• Website Master – Jonathan
  • Needs the login information for the website. Katherine will get it to him.
• Unity – Shyanne
  • Has a few ideas: movie night in the park? Paintballing? Will determine date and time in the GroupMe.
• Raffle – Rob (absent)

Old Business

• ALL POSITIONS FILLED!! See notes from elections here.

• Motion to create a bylaws subcommittee to discuss adding new positions, seconded. Passed. Will also write new positions into the bylaws.
  • Katherine was elected chair of the subcommittee.

New Business

• Motion to send $1000 to Area 69, $700 to World, seconded.
  • Prudent reserve $1000, will leave us approx $1000.
  • Motion passed.
• Merch new business!
  • Motion for $400 for 40 shirts, design to be decided in the GroupMe, seconded.
  • Katherine and Josh spoke in favor. Motion passed.
• Review of feedback from UCYPAA 2025
  • Reviewed the document as a group.
  • Upgrade to payment processing software on our website? Integrate onto our website? Might be Garrett’s passion project as co-chair.
  • Location? Move later or more Southern so warmer/less rain?
  • Should we create an events subcommittee? Nick’s thought: events subcommittee already exists within our bylaws: Events, Volunteers, Inreach, Graphics/Fliers, and Culinary Jedi (with support from Programs and Raffles).
